I have been studying with Pivot since November 2020 and have loved being training buy such an innovative and passionate organisation. Pivot is so student centric and they work hard to make sure that me (and others) have the very best learning environment.
I did the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment course virtually at The Pivot Institute. I found it very well structured, with lots of group discussions, one-on-one Zoom meetings, and helpful trainers. I would especially like to thank Jennifer, Elisa, Camilla and Morgan for guiding me through the course. While I have never learnt anything online before COVID restrictions, meant I had to do workshops through the computer. Even though it was all very new to me, and I had a lot of questions, they used their technologies to make it very easy for me to digest. I really feel like this course has prepared me well for my career as a TAFE lectured. That you all so much!!
Thanks so much for this week! I can’t say enough how grateful I am for the work you do and how understandable you made the cluster!
Have a lovely weekend, Melissa!
Thankyou so much for the review and for letting me know I have completed the requirements of the course. I found it a very interesting and valuable experience and have loved doing the course at PIVOT. I really have learnt so much from your very experienced trainers and markers- including yourself. Thankyou.
Morgan was amazing at juggling the online learning and the classroom learning. It was easy to just msg, email or call her to ask any questions related to the content that was being covered at the time. I am super grateful to have had this option as studying would have never been an option otherwise. Thanks Pivot!
I have enjoyed the experience with Pivot as a virtual student . There was no lack of assistance despite not being in a classroom with the educators, I received enough resources sent directly to my house to enable me to get through my studies and the online platform did not add any extra stress, if anything made it more comfortable for me being in my own space. The technology was straightforward and simple to use.
I loved the Practical section of the Working at Heights course, it was very hands on, and the trainer was very good at answering my random questions. I also enjoyed learning and practicing JHA’s as I have never done that before. Thanks Mine Training Australia. I look forward to coming back to do my Confined Space and EWP course.
Thank you, I have thoroughly enjoyed the course and units on offer. This course has supported me professionally and expanded my knowledge.
A personal thanks for your time supporting me over the last year where needed and giving me the uplift with systems and processes in the industry.
It has been a pleasure.
I had apprehensions about doing a virtual one but Pivot just proved that a sincere commitment to creating an engaging virtual experience can work wonders. They have created a sustainable learning model through its virtual segment. It provided insightful learning experience and was not any less compared to the classroom training. Course structure is the right blend of theory and practical exercises to be completed individually as well as amongst a team. Facilitators took great effort in engaging learners virtually through a good number of learning activities and interactions. Each cluster is so well structured, organised and takes into account challenges that learners face participating virtually
I appreciate the efforts Pivot put in to bring around changes in virtual learning to make it effective. I would recommend the Institute and its virtual course to everyone who is looking to upskill.
Big shout out to the Mine Training Australia with a five star service. I got my Forklift license and their course and service was pretty nice. Instructor was well experienced, and I learnt a lot from the course. Very supportive. Fantastic place to learn.
Melissa has been a superstar on this course handling the volume of students she has. She has turned herself inside out to accommodate every persons queries and learning levels. Never has she been dismissive or disengaged, rather she has forgone her own personal time to assist struggling students. Her teaching has been informative and concise and has been relatable to all levels, her willingness to put in extra hours to encourage struggling students has been so impressive and a huge factor in keeping, at least one student I know, coming back each day.
I owe her a huge debt of gratitude for engaging and encouraging me and allowing me the latitude to assist my co-worker when she was struggling. Thank you
