Course Overview
This unit specifies the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a vehicle loading crane with a Maximum Rated Capacity (MRC) of 10 metre tonnes or more.
A person performing this work is required to hold a vehicle loading crane HRWL.
This unit requires a person operating a slewing vehicle loading crane with an MRC of 10 metre tonnes or more to:
- plan for the work/task
- prepare for the work/task
- perform work/task
- pack up
Competence in this unit, does not in itself result in a High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) to operate this plant.
Mine Training Australia is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 51586) and a WorkSafe-approved High Risk Training Organisation. We will submit all High Risk Work Licences for individuals who have completed the training and have been deemed competent.
All of Mine Training Australia’s Training courses are nationally accredited and are in accordance with the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High-Risk Work (WorkSafe Approved).
Entry Requirements
A moderate English language, literacy and numeracy skill is required.
Participants must be over eighteen (18) years of age.
We prefer participants to have completed their Licence to Perform Dogging prior to attending this course. Please contact us about a combo deal if you have not completed your Licence to Perform Dogging qualification.
Nil Prerequisite units required.
