This VOC Forklift Verification Assessment Course offered by Mine Training Australia can help you do just that.

This Verification of Competency (VOC) is an assessment that confirms that an individual is competent and has the required skills and knowledge to operate a forklift truck. VOC is undertaken by individuals who already hold a current forklift ticket, licence, or unit of competency, to confirm they are still competent to the standards.

Important:

  1. You must hold a current High-Risk Licence for this class (LF)
  2. You must provide a copy of your High-Risk Licence & Statement of Attainment for TLILIC0003 Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck

General:

A moderate English language, literacy and numeracy skill is required.

Participants must be over eighteen (18) years of age.

Participants must wear the following PPE to commence the training:

  • Long-sleeved shirt (preferably high vis)
  • Long pants
  • Steel capped boots required

Ancillaries: Safety glasses, gloves and hard hat will be provided alternatively you may wish to bring your own.

Lunch: Please feel free to bring your own as we have lunchroom facilities available i.e. microwave, fridge.

Parking: Available on-site or alternatively a short walk from Glendalough Train Station.

Outcome and Certification

What will I receive upon completion?

Upon successful completion of the VOC assessment, participants will receive a Verification of Competency (VOC) certificate confirming their forklift operating competency.

Does this assessment renew my High-Risk Work Licence?

No, the VOC does not renew an LF High-Risk Work Licence. Participants needing to renew their licence must do so through their state’s workplace health and safety authority.
